Many of these products are manufactured exclusively for Homecraft Rolyan and have been developed in association with healthcare professionals and end users, and produced to our own design and exacting standards to ensure suitability, quality and value.
Homecraft Rolyan distributes products to customers including the NHS and private hospitals, private therapists, local authorities and councils, mobility shops, pharmacists, and distributors overseas.
Based in Huthwaite, north Nottingham in the UK, Homecraft Rolyan relocated to a new 81,000 sq foot purpose built facility in May 2006.
Established in 1948 in Tooting Bec, London, Homecraft Rolyan began by supplying craft materials to Hospital Occupational Therapy Departments. Easier Living products were progressively introduced into the range and over time became the primary focus of the business.
As Homecraft Rolyan expanded and changed ownership, the range was increasingly extended to include other rehabilitation products including hand therapy, physiotherapy and specialist products for children. This was accelerated in 2002 when it was combined with its current sister companies Sammons Preston Rolyan in the USA and Kinetec in France, and changed its name to Homecraft Rolyan. This positioned the company as one of the world's leading rehabilitation distributors with the most comprehensive range of products available.
In 2003, Homecraft Rolyan and its sister companies were acquired by its current owner, the Patterson Company, based in Minneapolis in the USA, with the division operating under the name Patterson Medical.
