The company microTec Laborgeräte GmbH manufactures Rotary Microtomes.

microTec was founded in 1994 and and is located in Walldorf. Under Ganter entity it started series production in 1993 of a self-developed product for the medicine technology (histology, pathology) - the Rotary Microtome. In 1994 Ganter GmbH established the company "microTec" as subsidary, in order to separate the sales of the products.

In the year 2000 the building of a new office followed. In 2001 the factory was extended, in order to make a further expansion possible.

Up to 2000 the company Olympus, domiciled in New York, was our representative for Rotary Microtomes in North, Central and South America. The company Triangle Biomedical Sciences in Durham, North Carolina/USA took on this task in 2001 for North America.

Nowadays microTec Laborgeräte GmbH delivers their products to reputable enterprises worldwide.
